You may have noticed that we have an introduction board to the PGR students in the Browns common room and that it’s getting a bit empty!

A coffee machine was placed in the Browns today, provided by the school. It is the same coffee machine as the one in Geography common room and is there for anyone to use. Milk and coffee is supplied as well!

Coffee and Cake time resumed from dead! Every Tuesday from 11:00 to 12:00 Coffee & Cake Tuesdays is a weekly social hour for all the researchers in Browns (or outside the Browns). There will be some free biscuits and hopefully some home made cake from one of us.

We are now allowed to return to the office in normal occupancy. This means that Browns will get busier again. Many of us will still have a lot of online meetings going on. We do ask you to not have online meetings in which you have to contribute at your desk in Browns, as that will disturb other people working there.

We are looking for PGR Social Representatives We have been lucky to have Viola and Tamsin who organized PGR social events last year. This position is now open for anyone who enjoys organizing parties and social events. This includes organising the summer party, Christmas party and casual meet-ups. Please let us know if you are interested.
